Laser Cutting
Laser cutting utilizes a focused laser beam to cut materials quickly and precisely. By vaporizing or melting the material, it achieves accurate cuts and intricate patterns according to design specifications.
Bending
Bending involves applying force to sheet metal to form it into various geometric shapes, such as U-shapes, V-shapes, or channels. It can be applied to sheet metals of varying thicknesses.
Welding
Welding uses heat, pressure, or both to join metal pieces together, forming a strong bond. It includes various techniques to create durable and robust metal structures.
Punching
Punching uses a punch press to force a tool through the material into a die, creating holes or shapes. It utilizes shear force to cut metal, ensuring precise and clean results.
Riveting
Riveting is a semi-permanent joining method using mechanical fasteners (rivets). Compared to welding, riveting is often faster and more cost-effective for certain applications.
Stamping
Stamping utilizes dies and presses to form flat metal sheets into specific shapes. It creates complex three-dimensional designs through cold forming techniques.
Surface Finishing Options for Metal Sheets
Our surface treatment processes can enhance the durability and appearance of your custom metal parts. If you have other requirements, please select “Other” and let us know your specific needs.
As Machined
The standard finish after the machining process. It is a cost-effective option with visible tool marks.
Anodizing
An electrochemical process that increases corrosion resistance and surface hardness. It also allows for color customization.
Polishing
A mechanical process that reduces surface roughness to create a smooth, shiny, and reflective surface.
Bead Blasting
A matte finish achieved by spraying fine glass beads at high pressure, removing tool marks and creating a uniform texture.
Brushed Finish
Creates a unidirectional satin finish. Excellent for hiding scratches and fingerprints while providing a premium look.
Powder Coating
A dry powder is applied electrostatically and cured under heat to form a hard, durable, and corrosion-resistant skin.
Plating
Depositing a layer of metal (like zinc or nickel) onto the surface to enhance corrosion resistance, conductivity, or aesthetics.
Black Oxide
A conversion coating that reduces light reflection and adds mild corrosion resistance without altering dimensions.
Electropolishing
An electrochemical process that removes surface material to improve surface finish, passivity, and brightness.
Chromate Conversion
Also known as Alodine or Chemical Film. Provides corrosion protection while maintaining electrical conductivity.
